Howdy. If it is God's will, I will be donating my kidney to my mother, pastor Matty Myers from Uvalde Texas on September 24th 2025.

I take my last evaluation before surgery Sept 1st.

Mother has been in dialysis for over three years. I had weight loss surgery over a year ago to meet the required BMI to even be able to test. I've met the BMI. Next step.

It has taken a toll on the family and in our life but it has also given us the privilege to learn to rely solely on God for answers, solutions, feelings and to live in complete FAITH on allowing his absolute will to do be done. It's taken a while to get to where we are now and we just got word last week (on time frame ) has given me one month to prepare ... And my return date for work will be beginning of November. 6 weeks later.

No accurred PTO saved to exhaust having the little ones with constant appointments and what not. No short term disability for even partial assistance on monthly expenses.

I don't have much but I'm giving everything I have , literally my body to my mother for long term independence and to live her life fully without having to worry about not being able to drink water, or swollen limbs and feet, or being poisoned by her own blood. (Dialysis cleans her blood for her three times a week - she can't drink anything..not even water ...and she can never leave tx due to complications with dialysis at other centers)

I'm asking for help with my monthly household expenses. If I didn't need the help I would not ask. But I do.

I'm nobody's hero. Maybe you would be willing to give your mother half your heart or "die for someone you love so much"..maybe it's easier to sit back and watch the show cause I stepped up and you didn't.... Maybe it's Maybelline.... Maybe not.

My life is in God's hands. He has full control and knows the outcome of days I have yet to see. My mother's life is in God's hands. Period.

If you can help please do. I will have my dad helping me after surgery in San Antonio. He will have his hands full. I'll be in a hotel and medicated up. So I think I'll be okay. I'll be in Texas two weeks. Then off work for four more before I can return to work. I make commission. I'll be short for the month.

She and Dad plan on heading to San Diego for two weeks after!!!

Ps. The boys play tackle football. If you can swing by and support a practice or watch a game that would be great. For Rafael and jasiah. The/Thursday practices 6-8pm. Sat games..holllllah! We can use every drop of amor you send our way!!!(Every cheer-when Rafa feels like quitting while running his last lap, When Jasiah walks off the field limping but the coaches are proud of him so he says nothing...we appreciate it all)
