Supporting St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital

Hi, my name is Cormac McLaren, and I’m proud to represent Phi Sigma Kappa (ΦΣΚ) this week in Tri Delta’s annual St. Jude Fundraiser Week here at Stetson University.

For years, Tri Delta has partnered with St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital as part of their national philanthropy, raising millions of dollars across the country to help children and families fighting childhood cancer and other life-threatening diseases. This partnership reflects Tri Delta’s long-term commitment to the mission of St. Jude: finding cures and saving children.

Here at Stetson, our Tri Delta chapter has carried that tradition forward with incredible success — raising over $10,000 last year alone to support this life-saving cause. This week marks their Philanthropy Week, a time when our entire campus community—students, faculty, alumni, and local supporters—come together to make a difference.

St. Jude stands out as one of the world’s leading children’s research hospitals, where no family ever receives a bill for treatment, travel, housing, or food. Every dollar donated helps fund cutting-edge research, innovative treatments, and compassionate care, ensuring that families can focus on what truly matters: their child’s recovery.

As a member of Phi Sigma Kappa, I’m honored to join Tri Delta in this mission. Together, we’re uniting Stetson’s Greek community to help St. Jude continue its groundbreaking work and bring hope to families around the world.
