Hi, my name is Spencer Badenhop, and I’m a Life Scout with Troop 149 working toward the rank of Eagle Scout. As part of this journey, I am leading a service project to give back to my community—and I need your help to make it happen!
I will be installing a public bike repair station along the bike trail near Rembold Avenue and Hiawatha Avenue in Mariemont, Ohio. This is a popular route for cyclists of all ages and skill levels, and the addition of a repair station will provide a much-needed resource for fixing flat tires, adjusting brakes, or making quick tune-ups while on the go.
Why this project matters:
• Supports safe, sustainable transportation
• Encourages outdoor activity and healthy living
• Provides a permanent benefit to the Mariemont community
• Helps cyclists avoid being stranded due to mechanical issues
The funds raised will go directly toward:
• Purchasing the bike repair station and tools
• Concrete and hardware for installation
• Permits and signage (if needed)
• Any additional materials or supplies
Every dollar helps—and any extra funds will be donated to Mariemont Parks & Recreation or used to improve the trail area further.
By supporting this project, you're not just helping me reach the rank of Eagle Scout—you're investing in a lasting piece of infrastructure that promotes safety, health, and community. Thank you so much for your support!
Yours in Scouting,
