Help Megyn Protect Her Newborn Daughter from Legal Harassment

In September, my daughter Megyn gave birth to a beautiful baby girl, Eliza. What should have been a joyful and peaceful time quickly turned into a nightmare.

Megyn had been living with her ex-fiancé during her pregnancy and after Eliza’s birth, trying to make things work for the sake of their child. But just two weeks after Eliza was born, Megyn had to leave his house and was told she was no longer welcome back. She and Eliza are now safe and living with her father, surrounded by love and support.

Unfortunately, her ex has vowed to make her life miserable. His exact words were:

“I’m going to keep taking you to court and enjoy every second of it,” said with a smile and a laugh.

Eliza is only six weeks old, and they’ve already been to court twice, with three more hearings scheduled. Each appearance costs around $2,000 in legal fees. Megyn is doing everything she can to protect her daughter, but the financial burden is overwhelming.

At first, I just wanted to raise money to help with the small comforts like coffee. I spent about $200 last month just on Starbucks to support Megyn and her dad (and me) as they navigate this exhausting legal battle. But it’s clear now that what she really needs is help covering attorney fees and court costs to keep Eliza safe and secure.
