My name is Natalie Mitchell, and I am a proud member of the Citizen Potawatomi Nation. Today, I am reaching out with a humble request for support as I navigate the challenges of a divorce and custody case. This is an incredibly difficult time for me and my little cub, George. Those who know us understand the profound connection we share—the unbreakable bond between a mother and her child, nurtured by deep love and unshakable trust. My child is my world, my heart, and my greatest joy. If you are familiar with the strong bonds between a mother and child and understand the deep pain when those bonds are broken then you know how important housing can be. I am fighting to get back into my family home and to take care of my child.

The legal journey ahead is daunting, both emotionally and financially, but I am determined to do everything in my power to keep our lives grounded in love, stability, and the traditions that mean so much to us.
