Greetings!!! ~ Family & Friends! My name is Dori Blackburn and I am putting together a GoFundMe page for one of my dearest friend Melissa (Missy) Hopper.

Today, Missy needs a miracle and our help to get back on her feet. To be more specific, a home/apartment by January 1, 2025, financial aid to get a storage facility, moving company, and pay bills for loss of wages after everything this past few months.

Missy was having health issues in California and her brother Mark insisted she come to New York last February to live with him. She moved to New York with just the clothes on her back. She continued to get well and found a job that she loves. In August, Mark was diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer and declined very rapidly, passing away on December 18, 2024. This leaves Missy with no home, car or a way to move into an apartment or room in the 10 days the landlord has given her to vacate her brothers rental.

I am praying for a "MIRACLE" to try and raise enough money to get her moved into a cozy apartment near work and move all the furnishings into a storage facility ASAP. Yep, Casting a lifeline to all to keep her in your heart and prayers this holiday season.
