Hello, my name is Gail Delio. I am 69 years old and I live in Pearce, Az. I've married for 32 years and I"m a grandma of 4 beautiful grandchildren. My husband and I are retired law enforcement and our income is limited. I cannot travel because we are so limited, but I need to do something to help my friend Lisa Buckler and her son anyway I can.

On Saturday the 28th of December, I got a request from my best friend in Ghent Ky her name is Lisa Buckler to please pray for her, her husband David, and there 8 year old little boy Layson. David was in critical condition at a hospital in Florence Ky on life support in ICU. When I finally got to talk to her she told me that on saturday the 28th David was working. He worked for Lyft, and he was working in Florence, Ky. Why he wound up in Indiana no one knows. He was sitting in his adoptive daughter's driveway. When she approached the vehicle she asked her dad what was wrong. He started gibbering something, then collapsed. Immediately, she started CPR until the paramedics could get there. Unfortunatley, because of the time in between her doing CPR and the paramedics getting there and transporting him to the local hospital in Indiana he had been without oxygen to his brain 30 minutes. He coded while in the ambulance and he was transported to Florence Ky to a hospital there. His injuries were life altering. He had a massive heart attack at the age of 56 and a pulmonary embolism. His brain was swollen and the only thing keeping him alive has been the ventalator He didn't make it. Today is January 1, 2025 and David is being taken off of all life support. He is brain dead and because he was an organ donor some of his organs will be able to save 4 people. Unfortunately, since David was the only person in the family that was worlking and supporting his family, now that will be gone and Lisa is disabled. The income that Lisa gets from her disability and a small amount that she will get from Davids partial retirement when he worked corrections will not be enough to sustain her and her son. If she cannot get the help she needs for her finances she will lose her home, her car, and will not be able to take care of herself or her son. I realize this is a lot to ask, but I"m setting up this Gofundme so she can get help to live her life with her son now that her husband is gone. David and Lisa were married for 27 years and now he is gone. I am asking from the goodness of your heart to please help Lisa and Layson. They will be needed all our help.
