Sadly, this is a reality far too many face… including Myriam.

When I went to meet her—intending to reward her for helping others in our community—I learned she’s quietly been fighting her own uphill battle. A single mom with several children, Myriam was abused and abandoned by her ex, evicted from her home, and recently fired… leaving her and her kids with nowhere stable to live.

She’s not asking for pity. She’s asking for a chance.

She’s actively looking for work, doing everything she can to stand back up.
