Hello my beautiful people! I hope all is well! I’m starting this gofundme page for my new friend, Angel. Don Angel is a Guatemalan fruit vendor in Los Angeles who sells oranges to make a living. While crossing the border, he was hit by a train in Guadalajara Mexico and was forced to start over. In this accident he lost both of his legs and now uses a wheelchair and takes public transportation to get around and to provide for himself, his daughter, wife and 2 kids in Guatemala.

Despite everything, he continues to show up with heart and hustle. But times are tough, with rising street risks and immigration raids, his safety and income are both unstable. His rent is $1,200 a month. I’m trying to raise money to help cover a month of rent (if possible more) so he can have a bit of relief during this hard time.
