Hello everyone! If I haven't met you, my name is Suzy Matus -- a coffee-addict, wine-lover, and 1 of 5 SHE-CAN Mentors to Concesse Nyirazikunze. That's why I'm here. Cony needs your support.

If you know Cony, you love Cony. I first met her in 2018. She was a Scholar from Rwanda with a big dream, and I was part of a group of SHE-CAN Mentors, led by Suzanne Russo, assigned to help her journey through applying to universities in the US. Over the last 8 years, we have been lucky enough to watch Cony blossom into an amazing young woman. She was accepted into the University of San Francisco, completed 4 years of hard work, crossed the stage in her cap and gown, and jumped into a bright future.

After graduation, Cony found a job in San Francisco and began applying to post-graduate programs. Unfortunately, her journey took an abrupt turn earlier this year. Cony was laid off from her job due to the political climate and struggled to find a new position. As she was looking for a new path forward, Cony was detained by ICE.

She is now working with local attorneys to confront and overcome this obstacle with ICE, but is in need of funds to support the cost of legal and application fees.

Cony's future is bright and we want to support the next steps in her journey successfully and without the stress of money. Please help us change the trajectory of her life.
