The best among you are those who bring the greatest benefits to others.” – Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him)
We humbly appeal to your generosity to support Sr. Zeinab, a devoted mother of three special needs children, who is facing unimaginable challenges after the tragic loss of her husband last year.
Sr. Zeinab is an immigrant whose green card is still under process. As a former homemaker, she devoted her life to caring for her family. Since her husband’s passing, she has been thrust into a world of uncertainty and hardship. With no family in the U.S. to turn to, she has relied heavily on the kindness of her community to meet her basic needs.
Her Story:
- Sr. Zeinab is the sole caregiver to her three young children, all of whom have special needs, making it nearly impossible for her to work outside the home.
- She was recently evicted from her apartment after falling behind on rent, leaving her with an outstanding debt of $9,000 and no place to call home. Her credit score is at risk, which will make securing housing even more difficult in the future.
- Currently, she and her children are living in a shelter, sharing facilities with others, but this arrangement is only temporary, and they must vacate within a month.
- Despite these challenges, Sr. Zeinab remains determined to build a better future for her family. She has begun studying online nursing courses, aspiring to become self-sufficient and provide a stable life for her children.
How You Can Help:
We are rallying as a community to raise $50,000 to cover:
- Clearing her overdue rent of $9,000 to repair her credit and enable her to secure a new apartment.
- Providing funds for several months of rent for a modest, safe apartment so she can focus on caring for her children and completing her nursing studies.
- Covering basic living expenses for her family during this critical transition period.
With Ramadan coming soon, this is an opportunity to earn immense rewards while making a tangible difference in the life of a struggling family. Sr. Zeinab is 'Zakat Eligible'.
Let’s come together to uplift our dear sister in her time of need. Your kindness can help her rebuild her life and give her children the stability they deserve.
Thank you for your compassion, prayers, and support. May your generosity be a source of blessings for you and your loved ones
