Update 12/27/2024: Lj is continuing her recovery in the ICU. She is mostly resting due to the pain medication she is receiving. We are waiting for her to fully awaken so we can move her to a regular room. Thank you for your prayers and financial support; we are truly grateful.

Update 12/22/2024: Thanks to your generous donations, my niece was able to undergo her second surgery, and thankfully, it was successful. She is currently recovering in the ICU. However, she has reached the hospital's limit and will not be able to receive any medication or lab tests unless we cover 75% of the current bill. We need your support once more. Please help us spread the word about our GoFundMe campaign to assist Lj in her recovery. Every little bit helps, and we are deeply grateful to everyone who has supported us— you know who you are! May God bless you abundantly for your kindness towards Lj.
Thank you also for your prayers.

Thank you once more for your prayers and generous donations for my niece, LJ. Your support means the world to us.
Update 12/19/2024: LJ's second surgery has been rescheduled to Saturday, Philippine time. The doctor has removed the temporary tube from her head, and she will have another CT scan today to assess her readiness for the next surgery. If her lab results are good, they will proceed with the surgery this Saturday to install the permanent tube (shunt). Her vital signs are stable, and she is now free of fever. We are so grateful that she can slowly move some parts of her paralyzed body, showing us her determination to fight and recover fully.
Thanks to the financial assistance we received, we were able to purchase the costly medications and necessary lab tests she requires.
Please keep praying for LJ's strength and swift recovery. She remains deeply thankful to everyone who has supported her during this difficult time.
Thank you, and God bless you!

Hello, my name is Levy, and I am reaching out to generous hearts for help in raising funds for my niece, Laurence Jean (LJ), who is just 24 years old and in urgent need of surgery in the Philippines.
LJ recently suffered a stroke and seizure, leading to her being admitted to a public hospital. She spent nine days there, during which she experienced two code blue emergencies, yet the doctors were unable to determine the cause of her condition.
On the ninth day, the doctors warned us that if we did not transfer LJ to a private hospital, she would not survive. Unfortunately, private hospitals in the Philippines are costly, and we did not have the funds. Nevertheless, we made the difficult decision to transfer her, which took the public hospital an agonizing 12 hours to arrange.
Upon arriving at the private hospital, the doctor quickly diagnosed her within just one hour: she had tuberculosis meningitis, and her condition was critical. Without immediate surgery, her life was in jeopardy.
We exhausted all our resources, finances, and connections to secure a deposit for LJ's surgery, which she thankfully survived. However, she now needs a second surgery by the end of this week (12/19) to replace a temporary tube with a permanent shunt, allowing her to return to a normal life.
We urgently seek your assistance to ensure she receives this vital surgery as soon as possible.
Any contribution, no matter how small, would be greatly appreciated and would make a significant impact on her life. I typically wouldn’t ask for money online, but this is the only option left for our family at this time.
Thank you for taking the time to hear her story, and may God bless you abundantly for your generosity and kindness.
