Hello, my name is Alexa. I have made this fundraiser to help my mom, Ana Resendiz and my family with their bills.

My mother who works day and night has received an eviction notice. Our landlord is planning to sue my mom because she has paid her rent late. As you all may know, it is becoming increasingly difficult in this economy to keep up with rent.

My mother is a single parent who works constantly. She receives zero help from my siblings' dad or even my dad. My mother has always been able to manage. She used to manage 7 kids but now with 3 of us grown up, she still has 4 to manage. That is still a lot, and she is trying her best, but the bills are stacking up, and it is not only the rent. It's food, school fees, and medical costs for all my younger siblings and my grandmother.

I try to help my mom as much as I can with anything she asks for. But even I don't make enough for the rent. I know I have already stated this, but my mother works as much as she can, as much as her body lets her. I know it is difficult for her and I admire her for it. She is a server and every time I come into her workplace, she lights up the whole room. I can tell she makes a difference in people's day when they are served by her. People specifically go just to see her. The food is great, but my mom is amazing.

She doesn't only make a difference for her customers; she makes a difference in my family's lives every day. Without her, I don't know where we would be right now. She is the glue that holds us together. She doesn't only work constantly at the restaurant; she works day and night as a mom who loves us. She has always been there for each and every one of us. She hides her feelings of overwhelmed for us and so we don't have to fear.

I ask any one of you if you could donate because it would be a tremendous help for her and my family. My mother just wants to be able to catch up on one month's rent. This is the first time anything like this has ever happened to my mom and my family. One dollar could make the difference in our lives.
