Help Expand Sapwi Bike Park!
Since 2017, Sapwi Bike Park has been built, maintained, and steadily improved by a small but mighty crew of volunteers alongside a generous community of riders. What started as a simple vision to create a free place where anyone can build skills and push their limits has grown into a beloved destination. Families, kids, and cyclists of all ages come here to ride, connect, and enjoy the outdoors. Now, we are ready to write the next chapter and make the park more fun, progressive, and accessible than ever before.
We are planning a major expansion that includes:
- More dirt features, new lines and challenges for beginners, intermediate, and advanced riders.
- An improved flow line trail with additional features to give riders smoother, more dynamic laps with better progression.
- A trick jump and airbag setup for special events so riders can safely practice jumps, build confidence, and learn new skills.
All of this takes funding, and that is exactly where you come in. Sapwi Bike Park is entirely volunteer-run and community-funded, meaning there are no lift tickets, no membership fees, and no day passes. It remains a free public resource because people like you care deeply about outdoor recreation, youth development, and building a strong local riding community. Every dollar helps us keep the park progressing and thriving.
Your donation directly supports dirt, tools, lumber, and raw materials for new and improved features; Equipment rentals and maintenance required to safely build and shape the park; Park improvements and ongoing upkeep of our existing jump lines; Event support, including an airbag setup for community events, skill development, and trick sessions.
About Our Park
Sapwi Bike Park was built and continues to be managed under a partnership between the Concerned Off-Road Bicyclists Association (CORBA, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit) and the Conejo Recreation and Park District (CRPD). Located in the heart of Sapwi Trails Community Park in Thousand Oaks, we offer a wide variety of trails, jumps, and skills features. Our lines range from beginner-friendly rollers to advanced kickers, giving riders a safe environment to progress. If this park has given you or your family a place to ride, make friends, or simply have fun outside, please consider giving back.
