At 53 years old, Ricardo suffered an unexpected hemorrhagic stroke. The stroke occurred in the center of his brain, and doctors gave little hope for recovery. With only a 3% chance of survival, Ricardo defied the odds. After one month in a coma, he miraculously woke up.
Known for his humor and kindness, Ricardo has always been the type of person to brighten any room. Whether he's joking with coworkers or sharing a laugh with a stranger, his positive spirit is contagious. For the past 35 years, he's also found joy in baking pastries; a passion that has brought happiness to everyone around him.
Today, Ricardo is facing the challenge of relearning how to walk and talk. His wife, Natalia, has taken on the role of his full-time caregiver, while their children — Alex, Miriam, Noelia, and Ricardo Jr. — support him on his road to recovery.
The Aguirre family is now navigating not only the emotional toll of this life-changing event but also the overwhelming financial strain of medical bills, therapy costs, and lost income.
Please consider donating to help the Aguirre family during this difficult time; ALL donations will be used for his medical, physical, occupational, and speech therapy bills. Your support will make a meaningful difference in Ricardo's recovery journey and bring hope to a family that has already shown incredible strength and resilience.
