Donate to Restore Traci and Erica's Safe Home

Hello I am Traci Belshe and with my Daughter Erica Belshe we are here to ask for your help. Our little 904 square foot home build in 1904 is in much needed repairs. We have applied and been on a waiting list since 2009 for very low income homeowners grant through IL Housing Development Authority. They have now made me purchase a flood insurance policy at a cost of $1500 good only for a year that we had to go into debit to purchase. Then after that was done I was told my project had not really been totally approved yet. So I would have to go back through the whole process again in a year or two when funds might be avail. So we are here to ask for your help. The contractor's bid came in at $ 21000.00 to do the needed repairs. We need your help to get these repairs done as the home is now beyond being able to wait any longer and is now a health and safety issue.
