This past weekend, my mother survived a horrible car crash after leaving my house, she had just cooked my family my favorite meal - enchiladas! While I’m endlessly grateful that she is alive, the accident left her without a car—her only means of getting to work, running errands, and staying independent. This couldn’t have come at a worse time, as she recently lost her job and is now facing the heartbreaking possibility of losing her apartment.

My mom is one of the most giving and compassionate people I know. She has always been the first to help others—whether it was family, friends, or even strangers—without ever asking for anything in return. Now, she’s the one in need, and I want to show her the same kindness she has shown the world.

Without a car, securing a new job will be nearly impossible, and with bills piling up, she’s running out of options. This fundraiser is her lifeline. Every donation—big or small—will go toward getting her reliable transportation so she can get back on her feet and regain stability.
