Donate to Restore Lucy & Matt's Home After Hurricane Milton

Lucy and Matt bought their first home in May of 2024, with lots of excitement to grow their relationship and hopes of having the privilege to one day raise a family there. They began adding their own touch to make the house into a home.

Not even 5 months of living in the house, Hurricane Milton tore through Port Orange, FL and their home got over 1ft of water throughout the entire house. Matt and Lucy lost almost everything from the mattresses to the pots and pans… with exception of what they had packed in their bags when they evacuated. In less than 12 hours their lives were flipped completely upside down. Now it is a matter of turning their destroyed house back into the home they fell in love with. Follow along as they start this unexpected journey, starting with demolishing the interior all the way to putting decorations back on the walls. They are eager for the future and have faith that everything happens for a reason.
