Hey there, my name is Jennifer Steelman and I’m not asking but I’m begging for help for the town locals of Hot springs, NC who have lost their jobs because of this devastating hurricane Helene damage. It completely wiped out our town and every business in downtown was completely destroyed. What makes it even worse is all surrounding neighboring city’s are all completely destroyed as well. This economy is already so hard enough and now you add a national disaster. If you don’t have it in your heart to donate or are on the fence about donating I urge you to look on YouTube to see the areal damage of Hot Springs, NC. If that doesn’t change your mind I don’t know what will. If you saw what I saw yesterday as my husband and I and our son went to help with cleaning up you’d understand why I made it my personal mission to try to help. There were literally children with shovels in their hands helping anywhere they could, business owners crying as they seen every thing they worked for destroyed and their employees still there helping knowing they can’t be paid and have no income for anytime in the foreseeable future. Even applying for assistance could take months and as we know bills don’t wait for anyone. Please help me help them. I’m begging you PLEASE ❤️
