This is an emergency relief fund for my Momma. A tidal wave caused by Hurricane Helene hit the 55+ community she lives in and she lost almost all of her belongings. Luckily she was able to get out and without physical harm. She is now salvaging anything she can which isn’t much and has to start over. Although the sentimental items cannot be replaced, I am at least hoping to raise funds to help her get basic furniture when she finds a new place to live.

This is a particularly a tough time for her, as she has also been endlessly searching the job market for the past 8 months trying to find something to replace the job she loved with a company that had to do its final lay offs before going under. I know she would have a hard time asking for help so I’m doing it without her knowledge. Please share this, anything helps. Thank you.
