Hello friends and family. I am Elizabeth/Liz Lauer: proud wife of David Lauer and mother of two loving, fun, boisterous girls. I am reaching out on behalf of a family member who needs support. Some of you know the story in more detail. To respect her privacy, I will keep it brief. She has extensive need for financial support due to great loss in her life: loss of home, work, insurance, her marriage, and connection with her kids.

On top of these losses, she has mental illness that is making rebuilding her life more challenging. As a result, family members are working to support her immediate needs of home, food, clothing, etc. We are working on getting her professional resources that help her build a healthy, joy-filled life.

We (her family) will use donated funds for the immediate needs (food, clothing, medical care). We hope to continue raising funds to support future needs of permanent housing, job search, food security, and ongoing mental healthcare.

We are aware this task seems insurmountable. I believe the God of hope holds her in His arms and will provide for her one small step at a time.
