Help Fix My Dad’s Truck So He Can Get Back to Work

Hi everyone, I’m reaching out with a heartfelt request for my father Clay Glaspy, who is truly the hardest-working man I know. For over two months now, he’s been without his truck it’s a 1985 Peterbilt. After the company he worked for, where he dedicated over ten years, closed its doors, his engine needed a complete overhaul due to oil contamination in the radiator. This truck wasn’t just his means of getting around – it was his livelihood. My dad is the sole Financial supporter for our family, and without his truck, he hasn’t been able to work, leaving us struggling to keep up with mounting bills.

We’re behind on nearly every bill – from the mortgage and utilities to insurance, car payments, and even our phone bills. Fixing the truck will cost around $5,000, and it’s the one thing standing between us and a chance to get back on track. We aren’t asking for help to clear all of our overdue bills, just enough to repair the truck so my dad can get back to work and start providing for us again.

My dad has always been the one to lend a hand, whether it’s helping at band competitions, hauling equipment, or transporting livestock for FFA members. Even when he wasn’t on the clock, he was using his truck to support our little community in Burnet Texas. He’s so hardworking and independent that he doesn’t even know I’m making this GoFundMe. He’s never one to ask for help, but this time, we really need it.
