Hi, my name is Rene and I’m a senior in high school. As part of my passion for horticulture through my FFA program, I’ve taken on a personal project that’s really close to my heart.

I’m currently working—completely on my own time and using my own resources—to build a garden at my former elementary school. My goal is to create a peaceful, educational space where young students can learn about gardening, connect with nature, and have a calming place to relax.

Previously, I helped design and build a garden at my high school, working with very limited resources. That experience taught me how much can be done with determination and creativity. Now, I want to take that knowledge and give back to a place where education starts.

This project is entirely student-led and self-funded, which is why I’m asking for your support. Your donation—no matter the size—will help me buy plants, soil, wood, and other materials needed to bring this garden to life.

This garden is more than just a school project. It’s about

inspiring a love for nature and horticulture at an early age,

bridging the gap between elementary and high school learning, and

creating a peaceful, outdoor space for students to enjoy and grow.
