Donate to Relocate Emily and Sprout's Family

Emily, Sprout, and their children need help moving. They had a violent interaction with a neighbor and do not feel safe at their current home. On August 18th, the family was home with their dog and 3 day old newborn. Thankfully their 4 year old was with her other parent.

Upon hearing a cry for help, Emily intervened on a domestic violence situation next door. Their neighbor then broke into their house, breaking a window and looking for Emily. He was soon arrested but everyone was very shaken.

The family is safe for now, but need help covering the cost of the AirBnB where they are currently staying, and the cost of moving to a new house. They will also need financial support to cover the cost of trauma therapy.

Emily and Sprout have been dreaming of raising their kids in Homer and spent most of their savings on moving here just this past April; only getting settled in their current home in June. The idea of moving again is devastating but it simply doesn’t feel safe to stay.
