Hello!

My husband & I are both queer & trans living in Iowa currently, and could use all the support we can right now getting out of the state. Iowa has stripped away protections on gender identity for transgender Iowans. We now legally can be discriminated against with housing, jobs, etc.

We have pretty low income but make enough to pay our bills & survive, but unfortunately do not have the means to save up to get out of some debt & save money to move. We would love to be able to move to Illinois, so we can live somewhere safe and trans inclusive.

We appreciate any one who is able to help and share this for us, we know that times are hard for all of us and things are extremely scary for us all but we are so thankful for those who are able to help, even just sharing this is help enough.
