I am here on behalf of my daughter. We are trying to get some support for her to get a retainer fee for an attorney. She is escaping an abusive relationship and it is important that she maintains primary custody of her two children, aged 3 & 5. This has left her with anxiety, depression, and PTSD. She also suffers from debilitating migraines, and has been unable to work. She has applied for disability and once approved, will be in a better position.

She has done all of the preliminary legal filing and found safe housing. She has an amazing group of friends for moral support, but needs some financial help to get past this hurdle so she and the kids can move forward without any further conflict.

In addition to the urgency of legal help, her car has about $900 in repairs needed to get back on the road. They are currently relying upon public transportation, which makes things challenging, but she is making it work. Unfortunately, this week they all have contracted Covid, but I'm sure it will just be a bump in the road.
