Santa Monica Pickleball Center is partnering up with the local pickleball and tennis retailers and organizations as we recognize that the recent wildfires have left many of our community members facing unimaginable losses.

Our hearts go out to everyone affected by this tragedy. In response, we are all stepping up to support our pickleball and tennis community across Los Angeles.

We’re launching a fundraiser with an initial goal of $100,000 with hopes to surpass that.

Our priority is to help community members, both kids and adults alike, to replace their lost equipment, including pickleball paddles, tennis rackets, and athletic shoes. Your donation will ensure that Santa Monica Pickleball Center and our partners (listed below) can provide discounted or free of charge replacement rackets, paddles and shoes to all those who weren’t able to take things with them as they evacuated.

This will support both the Palisades community and the Alta Dena areas that have been hurt by this tragedy.

We want to provide new equipment to all rather than used and dontated equipment so that people can feel a sense of dignity and get back to the activities they love as they recover from this tragedy.

We are also aiming to help schools in both communities that have tennis and pickleball programs replace equipment for their courts and programs.

Any additional funds we receive beyond equipment reimbursements will be donated to the Los Angeles Fire Department Fund to support the brave firefighters who continue to protect us and risk their lives for our safety.
