Hi my name is Carla DaCosta or HM2 DaCosta as some may call me. I was born and raised in Jamaica until I moved here at 12 years old. While I currently live in the states, majority of my family still lives back home (ie: my dad, older sister, aunts grandma etc). The purpose of this go fund me is to help my country rebuild after the Hurricane. I am asking kindly for any and all help as there are soooooo many people without houses, clothes, food and the basic necessities for everyday life. A lot of these people gained their income from the tourism sector of the country or through farming which are now at a deadlock. All proceeds will go towards the community of Cascade, Pondside, Cold Spring and Pattyhill Hanover as they are desperately in need of help. My vision is to buy as much school supplies, clothes for kids, and food to pass out to the community as well as try and rebuild schools or help supply families with materials to help rebuild there houses as majority of those structures are no longer standing in the community. I have included pictures so you can see a glimpse of what I once called home now looks like. My family and I have already started to buy supplies to send back home in barrels but we need your help to help as many people as possible in the community.
