Dear Friends, Families, and Community Members,

We are reaching out today on behalf of a dedicated teacher who has always given her heart, time, and energy to her students and school community. Unfortunately, she is now facing a very difficult personal situation. Due to an unexpected separation and divorce, she is experiencing serious financial hardship. As a single mother of two children, she is doing everything she can to provide stability, but she was forced to leave her residence at the end of August and urgently needs support to secure safe housing for her family.

Despite exploring every option available to her, she does not currently qualify for Section 8 housing or other assistance programs until the divorce process is finalized. This left her and her children in a very vulnerable position, with limited resources and very little time to secure a safe place to live.

This SCPS VPK teacher has poured into countless children—encouraging them, supporting them, and believing in them. Now, she is the one in need of encouragement and support from the community she has served so faithfully.

We are asking for your help to raise funds and provide resources during this challenging time. Every contribution—big or small—will go directly toward helping her and her children find a safe home and meet their immediate needs. Beyond financial support, words of encouragement, community resources, or practical assistance are also deeply appreciated.

To help, we have set up a GoFundMe campaign that will run for approximately two weeks. At the end of the campaign, every contribution made on her behalf will be presented directly to her and her children to assist with housing and immediate needs.
