Donate to Provide Food for Ukranian Refugees
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Alden. I'm a high schooler from New York City. Like many of you, I'm very troubled by the Russian invasion of Ukraine and the destructive impact it is having on the lives of Ukrainians. Because of this, I decided I would volunteer to help Ukrainian refugees in Poland. I am currently working at the distribution center of the JCC Krakow (Jewish Community Center) where we help distribute food, clothing, hygienic products, and other necessities to Ukranians who have crossed the border looking for safety. This program operates seven days a week and, in addition to the above, sponsors shelter for hundreds of Ukranians within Krakow. The program is an enormous help to those in need.
Food shipments come to the JCC when available and I want to supplement the highest demand items of the people we're serving. I need funding to help with purchasing food from local supermarkets to donate to the JCC for distribution. Rest assured that your money will make a difference especially because the food here is relatively cheap. Just $20 feeds several Ukrainian families for a day. I hope that you will please consider donating what you can. I will of course update you with an account of what your donations have achieved.
These donations are time-sensitive; we leave on May 29th. All donations made after that point will be handed over to the JCC Krakow.
Thank you!
