Food stamps have not been issued since the shutdown. Our foster son's daycare is in a low-income area where the majority of his classmates rely on food stamps. Without them, these children have no idea where their food is going to come from this month. Any amount of donations is appreciated, even if it's just $1. I will use all of the money to buy the groceries they need and will provide receipts.
