Donate to Provide Comfort for Cancer Patients at Hope Lodge
Donation protected
Hello! Our names are Emily O’Sullivan, Lila Cerritelli, and Alexandra Gresham. We are current University of Vermont seniors majoring in Health Sciences. This semester we are volunteering at Hope Lodge in Burlington, VT. Hope Lodge is part of the American Cancer Society that provides a home away from home for cancer patients and their families while seeking treatment at the UVM Medical Center. This nurturing facility does more than simply give patients a comfortable place to sleep, it fosters a positive and inclusive environment where patients and families can enjoy home-cooked meals, engaging activities, private rooms, and an array of other amenities enabling a sense of positivity and joy in times of illness. Your generous donations will go directly toward providing fresh, nutritious meals prepared by us for patients and their families during their stay. We also want to ensure they have all the essentials needed for a comfortable stay, from toiletries to blankets and other items that make their time away from home a little easier. We aim to create opportunities for relaxation, enjoyment, and mental well-being through various activities, such as yoga, crafts, and much more to help reduce stress and foster a sense of community. Every dollar you can contribute will go toward enhancing the Hope Lodge experience and ensuring that those facing cancer can have a more comfortable, positive, and healing environment while they focus on their recovery. Thank you so much for your kindness and support. Together, we can make a significant impact and help brighten the days of those who need it most.
