It is extremely difficult for a person to be struck by fate and shift from one state to another while remaining content with what Allah, the Almighty, has decreed. As the verse says: "Nothing will ever happen to us except what Allah has destined for us."
We are Iraqis. Before life turned its tragic face towards us, we lived in our country in good conditions, never imagining that our situation in exile would reach such a point, where we would be forced to seek help from our brothers and sisters—many of whom are in the same situation as us in this exile.
We won’t go on for too long and will leave the pain, sorrow, and tears between the lines of these difficult words...
Our son—a young man—was hardworking, kind, loved by people, always helping others, devoted to his parents, and affectionate with his family and relatives. Then something happened to him, and he was unjustly imprisoned. His sentencing and imprisonment are strange, and every aspect of his case reeks of the injustice of exile and alienation.
We are powerless to alleviate this injustice. We have made every effort and spent all our savings on greedy lawyers. We paid large amounts, took out bank loans, and endured the bitterness of need. And yet, we are still fighting to prove his innocence and clear his record. But we no longer have any resources or savings left, and now we have no choice but to appeal to our Iraqi and Arab brothers and sisters to support us by donating whatever they can. May Allah reward them greatly.
"Whoever relieves a brother of a hardship in this world, Allah will relieve him of a hardship on the Day of Judgment."
You will be able to communicate directly with the lawyer, who has requested an amount we are unable to provide.
We thank you deeply and sincerely...
The family of the oppressed young Iraqi man who lost his freedom unjustly, lost his future, his job, and his social life—he is currently living through the tragedy of injustice and imprisonment.
