Hey everyone!

We're setting up an emergency fund for our family in order to stay afloat during these difficult times.

Outside of work and essential tasks, my family in the valley has been remaining indoors at all times due to fears of being detained.

As a result, my teenage sister has assumed the responsibility for tasks that require leaving the house in an attempt to keep my parents safe at home.

Every day that they leave home for work is another chance that something devastating might happen to them. Despite that, they need to keep a roof over their head.

The purpose of this fund is to provide a safety net and peace of mind. This would go towards covering rent, bills, food, medical costs, and delivery services in the event we are not able to work. We have already felt the effects of the raids on our communities due to less work being available for my family. Unfortunately, should one or more of us be detained, this would also go towards legal help as well.

My family are incredibly hard working people who have been living in fear every day due to this administration. We ask for help because during times like these, you can really only depend on your community. We greatly appreciate any support in keeping our family safe and together.
