Hello everyone, as many of you know our community of Drag Performers have had the luxury of having MANY of their performance videos documented and archived for several years. These videos have provided so many entertainers with content, Drag Race audition materials, helped them gain popularity and bookings, and given them memories to hold onto forever. It all started when one of our beloved community members, Mel Cordner, decided to start filming and archiving performance videos on the “CT Drag Fans” Facebook group. Then the number of videos quickly grew beyond the storage limits of Facebook and “CT Drag Fans” had to branch out into a larger platform, then the “CT Drag Fans” Vimeo account was born - the optimal platform with tons of storage options for performance videos and the option for entertainers to download their performance videos directly from the platform…believe it or not, Mel and I have accumulated over 1.6 TB of video content (yes, you saw that correctly, OVER a TERABYTE) and still growing! As you can probably imagine, this amount of storage is quite expensive, and the price has recently gone up….to the tune of $75/month (or $720 annual fee) + taxes. Mel has generously shouldered the cost of this account entirely by themselves over the last 2 years. But I think it’s time to come together as a community and help to fund this incredibly valuable account - please consider pitching in anything you can to help us reach our goal, every little bit counts.

We should mention that Mel and I do NOT get paid to record performances, nor to manage the CT Drag Vimeo account. We do this as volunteers to support our community and we will NOT be earning a cent from this fundraiser. Our community of Drag Artists put a lot of work into their performances - they deserve to have them documented.

The account’s annual renewal will be charged (in full) on December 1st, 2025.

In the spirit of giving, please consider a donation before that date.

If we happen to raise more than our goal amount ($720) the extra funds will NOT be pocketed by Mel or I, but instead will be held for the following year’s storage renewal costs.
