As I celebrate and reflect on my birthday this year, not only do I feel closer to my inner child but am overwhelmed with immense pride and gratitude towards the people in my life and organizations like PFLAG that continue to make a substantial impact on queer folks, their loved ones, and the institutions we have to navigate each day. PFLAG is an incredible organization dedicated to creating a caring, just, and affirming world for LGBTQ+ people (with an emphasis on youth!).
