Hi my name is Lucky and I am the
Band Leader / Artistic Director for
Perpetual Beauty Carnival Arts
a not-for-profit group based in Hackney.
Originally established in 1979 under the Creative direction of the Late
Lincoln Rahamut, John Taylor and
led by Ken Auguste.
Perpetual Beauty continues to be a family/community group from Hackney and has been a significant force within the history of Notting Hill Carnival & UK Carnival Arts.
After an absence from Notting Hill Carnival we are returning !
Our motto is ' We Not I '
Participating in the Notting Hill Carnival is especially important to us this year, as it would mark our return after two decades. This opportunity would allow for a new generation to experience Notting Hill Carnival and share their passion for dancing and performing to a diverse and international audience. It also provides our youngstars with a platform to showcase their talent on a grand stage, fostering community pride and celebrating cultural heritage.
The funds raised will be used to accommodate our 30 Children as follows
- Transportation: Ensure safe and reliable travel for our Children to and from the event.
- Uniforms: T-Shirts that reflect theme & Caribbean heritage
- Creative materials: For creation of Children's Carnival costumes which are being made during costume workshops
- Food/Refreshments: Provide our children with nutritious meals and refreshments to keep their energy up during long day rehearsals and performances.
Your support will enable us to create a memorable impact at the
Notting Hill Carnival 2025 and continue our mission of spreading the joy and culture of Carnival Arts
We welcome all support and donations be it large or a small, as it's the small contributions that make a big difference
Thank you for helping us with our mission
