Donate to Paul Michelman's son, Ethan
Donation protected
In June of this year Paul Michelman lost his battle with addiction at 48 years old. I had the pleasure to connect with him 6 weeks before he died, and we had several conversations about how much love he had for all his friends from the past. We all seem to remember Paul's smile, unconditional acceptance and delight in people, and his philosophical way of looking at the world. What most of us didn't know was about his deep loneliness and struggle with alcohol which deeply effected his self esteem and his family.
Recently I had the opportunity to meet Ethan Michelman, Paul's 15 year old son. Paul was beyond enamored with Ethan and felt so excited for his love of baseball, and watching him grow into the man he is to become. He shared with me on many phone calls that he felt he was telling Ethan everything he knew to be a good responsible man and was confident he was headed in the right direction. Aside from Ethan being the spitting image of Paul when he was 15, I would agree with Paul that Ethan is an incredible young man, sensitive and interested in life and others and a delightful person to be around.
I'd like to ask you to donate to Ethan's future so he can continue to play baseball or whatever other opportunities he sees for himself in high school and college. Paul is no longer here to provide these things for Ethan. As a tribute to his life, our friendships with Paul, and admiration for him being an overall good light touching all our lives in some way I'd like your help in providing for Ethan the opportunities we had as kids that the family may not be able to afford going forward.
There will be a memorial Sept 3rd where I'd like to present this donation to Ethan and his mom Evelyn so please, whatever is possible on behalf of Paul, let's share.
Thanks and love to everyone,
Stacey
