Donate To Our Family Needs - Every Little Bit Counts!
13/05/2025
Dear Friends, Family and kind hearted supporters,
We're reaching out with humility and hope as Jason and I face unexpected financial challenges.
As most of you know now Jason is a sole trader and is currently in hospital due to falling 6 meters through a roof, landing on his feet and completely shattered both of his ankles. Jason has had one lot of surgery and has another coming up in a week or so and possibly more down the track. When he comes home he will be non weight bearing and will require a wheelchair for some time. He will be unable to work for at least 3+ months.
What most people don't know is that I was diagnosed with detached retinas in both of my eyes at the start of this year. I have already had 2 surgeries and require another 2 proceedires around October. As a result of my first 2 surgeries I am now fully blind in my right eye and only have 50% vision in my left eye. Due to this I am unable to drive, walk or go anywhere without some type of assistance outside our house. I am not able to work in my job as a sole trader and haven't done so since January. I also have been unsuccessful in claiming any government benefits as I am not considered legally blind.
Your donations will help cover essential, expenses -keeping a roof over our heads and not having to sell our home, putting food on our table and covering our growing list of medical expenses. Your donation will give us some type of stability and ease the pressure we are currently overwhelmed with. No contribution is too small, every bit of support means the world to us whether it's $10 or $100
If you're not in the position to donate, sharing our story with others is just as valuable.
Your kindness and compassion will give us both the strength needed to get through this trying time.
We can not express how thankful and grateful we are that you're part of our support system.
Much love, Lisa & Jason x
