Help Us Open a Women’s Shelter in Hampton Roads

Women in Transformation is working to make a real difference in the lives of women experiencing homelessness and instability in the Hampton Roads area. We are raising $70,000 to purchase a 5-bedroom home that will serve as a safe, supportive shelter for women in crisis.

Every day, women in our community face life-changing challenges—job loss, rising rent costs, domestic violence, and family breakdowns—that leave them without a place to turn. Many are sleeping in cars, on couches, or in unsafe environments. We believe they deserve better.

This home will be more than just a roof over their heads. It will be a place of transformation—where women can access not only shelter, but also resources like job training, counseling, life skills development, and emotional support to help them rebuild their lives and regain independence.

But we can’t do it alone.
