Hi friends and family,
We are raising funds to help my sister and her family travel to Central Kansas in late October so that their 8-year-old son, Noah, can finally meet his new service dog.
Noah is an amazing little boy who is autistic and non-verbal. This service dog will be more than a companion - it will be a lifeline. The dog will help Noah with safety, emotional regulation, daily routines, and, hopefully, give him the confidence to experience the world more freely.
In order for Noah to bond with his new dog, the entire family must travel to Kansas and stay for a full week. During that time, they'll attend hands-on training to learn how to care for and work with the dog. They'll also need to practice real-life situations like going out to eat, shopping, visiting the park, and doing everyday activities - so Noah and his service dog can learn to navigate life together.
This trip is a big financial undertaking for the family. Between travel, lodging, meals, and daily activities required for training, the costs add up quickly. They are staying in an AirBnB since there are 6 of them, and that expense alone is just over $1,000. That's why we are reaching out for support from our community of family, friends, and kindhearted strangers.
How You Can Help:
- Donate any amount - every dollar truly makes a difference.
- Share this page with others who might want to help
- Keep Noah and his family in your thoughts and prayers as they prepare for this life-changing journey
Our whole family is praying that this service dog will give Noah independence, comfort, and opportunities he's never had before. With your support, we can help him take this huger step toward a brighter future.
Thank you for helping Noah meet his new best friend, and for helping our family do everything possible to help him through his daily struggles.
