I am Nismah Shaheen from Gaza, married with three children. Over the course of my 21 years of life, I have witnessed five brutal wars and numerous escalations. Since I was young, we have suffered from financial hardship and poverty, and we would spend many nights without food. In the past, we witnessed slight improvements in our living conditions, but since the war began, Gaza has been ravaged by destruction. Our source of income is my husband's job... With the war, all our dreams and ambitions have ended, and we now live in tents that are barely sufficient to withstand any wind or cold. In addition to our displacement, we face a tremendous increase in the cost of living, which makes leaving Gaza difficult, in light of the insanely high prices... Don't forget that your help, even a little, in this difficult situation and the high prices of all goods, helps us meet our needs and daily expenses. I married at the age of seventeen and have three children: a two-and-a-half-year-old boy, a one-and-a-half-year-old girl, and a two-month-old baby, who were born during the war. My husband and I, and our dreams of building our own home and raising our children with dignity, were shattered by the brutality and cruelty of war. We lost everything, and now I don't have the money to buy diapers or milk for my children. Help me build the home we never would have enjoyed.

أنا نسمة شاهين من غزة، متزوجة ولدي ثلاثة أطفال. على مدار 21 عامًا من حياتي، شهدت خمس حروب وحشية وتصعيدات عديدة. منذ صغري، عانينا من ضائقة مالية وفقر، وكنا نقضي ليالٍ عديدة دون طعام. في الماضي، شهدنا تحسنًا طفيفًا في ظروفنا المعيشية، ولكن منذ بداية الحرب، اجتاح الدمار غزة. مصدر دخلنا هو عمل زوجي... مع الحرب، انتهت جميع أحلامنا وطموحاتنا، ونعيش الآن في خيام بالكاد تكفي لتحمل أي ريح أو برد. بالإضافة إلى نزوحنا، نواجه ارتفاعًا هائلاً في تكلفة المعيشة، مما يجعل مغادرة غزة أمرًا صعبًا، في ظل الغلاء الجنوني... لا تنسوا أن مساعدتكم، ولو بالقليل، في هذا الوضع الصعب وغلاء جميع السلع، تساعدنا على تلبية احتياجاتنا ونفقاتنا اليومية. تزوجتُ في السابعة عشرة من عمري، ولديّ ثلاثة أطفال: ولدٌ عمره سنتان ونصف، وبنتٌ عمرها سنة ونصف، ورضيعٌ عمره شهران، وُلدوا خلال الحرب. أنا وزوجي، وأحلامنا في بناء منزلنا وتربية أطفالنا بكرامة، تحطمت بسبب وحشية الحرب وقسوتها. فقدنا كل شيء، والآن لا أملك المال لشراء حفاضات أو حليب لأطفالي. ساعدوني في بناء منزلٍ لم نكن لنستمتع به أبدًا.
