My name is Nathan Balch. I am a Boy Scout from troop 267 from Fredonia, NY. I am trying to obtain my Eagle Scout rank. To achieve this rank I need to plan and complete a project that benefits my community. I decided on a project in Hanover NY, Sunset Bay Beach where my family, friends, and I go frequently. I thought it would be a cool idea to build a sand toy box. It will be filled with sand toys that kids can borrow and then return them when they are done. This would also be an area to put used beach toys that are no longer needed. I also plan on replacing the swings as one was missing and the others were due for replacement.
