I’m a single dad of two teenage daughters. My 16 year old and I are currently living in a hotel. She has autism, and I truly hate this for her. I know it has been especially hard on her. We had a little house, but had some emergencies come up that caused me to lose the house several months ago along with my vehicle. I am still working full time and I’m currently walking to work. I am also donating blood for the extra money. My other daughter is in Virginia and I am trying to gain custody of her as it is not a healthy environment for her there.

I am asking for help to get the first month’s rent and security deposit so I can rent a place for my girls. It’s hard saving for that while paying for the hotel room and Uber rides when necessary. I want a safe place to live for my daughter who is with me and hopefully my other one can join us. I know it is stressful for my girl and with her autism, she needs structure and safety to be her best.
