 To know me is to know that I LIVE for my 3 beautiful babies & it’s taken a lot of courage to be transparent in this way and reach out for support… but for my children, I’ll do whatever I need to.

•On April 11th, 2025, my original tumor returned with a second tumor and metastasized into my lungs leaving innumerable lesions. (I have Giant Cell Tumor of Bone)

•On May 8th, 2025, I was fired, then assaulted by my boss on my way out the door for asking if I could have a copy of my write-up to give my lawyer as I knew my termination was wrongful. (Which HR has seen to be true during this investigation)

I worked almost 3 years with this company. 

My job started giving me grief about the comforting work shoes that I requested to wear via doctors note (as I needed shoes with more room since my ankle would be so inflamed due to working full time into overtime most days) ..along with the many new & random doctor appointments I was starting to have. 

They started what’s known legally as a discriminatory push out and fired me for “poor job performance” when I didn’t have so much as a bad shift prior to that date. They hired a friend of the other AGM for my position, and once he had a bit of training in back office work/accounting, they plotted, then watched my shifts on camera to find some type of wrongdoing and made their move. (They fired me for clocking an employee out after she called me -since I was the only GM on duty- saying she may not have clocked out because she left in a rush and couldn’t remember if she did.) With my title as an Assistant General Manager I had those permissions to prevent timeclock theft…etc. I clocked the employee out and advised her like I’d do anyone else to let the GM know.

To add insult to injury, this isn’t the first time they did something so messed up because they backdated a fake termination when I started my maternity leave (they never terminated me & they lied to Sedgwick) then “rehired” me once my six weeks was up just so they wouldn’t have to pay my maternity leave. (Yet “Anyone getting rehired has to wait 6 months, NO EXEMPTIONS!”)

 During that time, I drained my savings and haven’t built it back up! (THAT WAS Dec.2023; I STILL HAVE YET TO GET MY MATERNITY LEAVE SINCE THE STATE SAID THE COMPANY’S PRIVATE INSURANCE IS THE ONE RESPONSIBLE FOR ME GETTING THAT MONEY.)

I’ve gone to countless interviews and still have many more but can’t seem to obtain another job and now have more bills than money.

In February of this year, I upgraded our family car, and a week after my birthday; on June 26th, 2025 a careless driver totaled my last source of income. 

I am deeply saddened & depressed. Consumed with grief, intrusive thoughts and a spirit that’s ready to give up. 

My children are literally my heroes as they’re keeping me afloat. My therapist says it’s like being under a string of bad luck and wonders how I manage to keep going and stay positive… all I can say is God & my great grandmothers prayers.
