A lot of families in our community are struggling to afford basics like pads, or a toothbrush. That's why I, Nandini Kondhare, a high school student, started Care Before Crisis; a project focused on putting together care kits for students & families who need extra support.

Each kit includes items like school supplies, hygiene times, & stress relief tools. These might seem small, but they can make a big difference for someone who feels overlooked or unprepared.

Right now, I'm trying to raise $500 to help create 50 care kits. The kits will be given out through Lincoln-Central Neighborhood Family Center here in Columbus, Indiana.
