“My name is Mohammad Za’tar… and my life was turned upside down in an instant.”
I lived a simple life in Gaza, full of hope for a better tomorrow. Just two months before the war began, I got married to the woman I love. We started our life together with nothing but love, a small home, and dreams of a peaceful future.
But then… everything was destroyed.
The war came without warning. A missile flattened my home. My job was gone overnight. I was injured—badly—and now I can’t even stand, let alone work to support my family.
And in the middle of all this chaos… my daughter was born.
She is just one month old. She came into a world of fear and destruction. She knows nothing but her mother’s arms and my helpless hands. We have no food, no milk for her, no medicine—nothing. Not even a blanket to shield her from the cold nights.
Today, we are living with nothing. I can’t provide even the basic needs for my baby. I see her crying from hunger, and I have nothing to give. It breaks me every day.
I am reaching out to anyone with a kind heart—please, help us. Help me feed my baby girl. Help me protect my wife. Help us survive.
Every little donation can save a life. Every act of kindness gives us hope.
“Mahmoud… a father who has never seen his daughter.”
When the war began, my brother Mahmoud made the hardest decision of his life—he sent his pregnant wife to Egypt, searching for safety and a future for their unborn child.
She gave birth far from home, far from him. Today, their daughter is one year old… and Mahmoud has never seen her—not even once.
He lives with constant longing, sending what little money he can so his wife and child can survive in exile, while he remains trapped in Gaza under war and blockade.
All he dreams of is to hold his daughter, just once—to make up for a year of absence and aching silence.
