Mental Health Isn’t Just a Topic…It’s Real Life!
Behind the smiles, the posts, and the “I’m fine,” a lot of us are struggling more than we admit. School, work, relationships, and life can get overwhelming, as a result sometimes it feels like you have to handle it all alone. The truth is… you’re not alone. And no one should feel like they have to suffer in silence. That’s why we’re raising money for Mental Health America (MHA), an organization that helps people find support, learn about their mental health, and get access to care when they need it most. Nothing shines more than helping out. Your small support makes a big difference in someone’s life. If you can donate, even something small, it truly matters. And if you can’t, sharing this could reach someone who needs it or help someone feel seen. Let’s show up for each other, not just when it’s easy, but when it really matters!✨

MHA Founder Clifford W. Beers, experienced his own mental health struggles after graduating from Yale University, he sadly suffered through his first bipolar manic episode that nearly ended in tragedy.
"Beers founded the Connecticut Society for Mental Hygiene in 1908, which would expand a year later to form the National Committee for Mental Hygiene. The Committee was the predecessor to the National Mental Health Association, which later became Mental Health America on Nov. 16, 2006." - Our History | Mental Health America.org
Mental Health America (MHA) is America’s longest-running national mental health organization helping Americans struggling with mental health to find reliable access to care and resources which in turn has improved their lives for the better.

Mental Health America works in four major areas: advocacy, research, workplace resources, and youth leadership. Their advocacy work promotes prevention, early intervention, and integrated mental health care in society. MHA helps in research efforts for understanding mental health needs and behaviors in various populations. They also have year-round resources for individuals and provide support for organizations looking to expand mental health resources. MHA also has a youth leadership program to help cultivate mental health positive mindsets early and promote responsive peer support.

MHA launched the slogan B4Stage4 (Before Stage 4) which is the crisis state of mental health. At this point it involves extreme distress, total loss of being able to function, and often involves suicidal ideation. With the focus of modern medicine on early screening and prevention of conditions like cancer and heart disease, society often waits until mental health issues get to this stage before intervening. Together we can reach people that need help before it gets to this point.

Our goal is to raise funds for the incredible non-profit organization Mental Health America (MHA) to help support their continuous efforts to improve access to mental health resources by way of awareness, education, and reliable care.

Please consider donating today to help support Mental Health America continue their positive impact in the lives of those who need it most.
