When the system shuts down, our hearts must open up.
Masjid al-Mu’min of Pittsburgh is a small but devoted Muslim community located in the heart of Pittsburgh’s East End. For years, we have served as a spiritual home and safe space for worship, education, and outreach. Our mission is built on wholesome Islamic family values — faith, compassion, and service to others. Through our newly formed Masjid al-Mumins' “We ALL We Got” Food Pantry, we strive to support not only our members but also our surrounding neighbors, regardless of faith or background.
Masjid al-Mu’min in Pittsburgh is dedicated to offering grocery gift cards, distributed on a first-come, first-served basis. In response to rising grocery prices and the loss of SNAP benefits during the government shutdown, our objective is to assist 100 families, providing each with a $50 gift card redeemable at Market District/Giant Eagle, Trader Joe’s, and Aldi.
We’ve never done anything like this before, but we feel called to act.
We are a very small community, yet our hearts are big. We want to do our part — and begin something that can grow into something bigger down the line, insha’Allah. Every dollar you give goes directly toward helping a family eat, a senior rest easier, and a child smile again.
Every donation matters. Every share helps. Together, we can remind our neighbors that they are not forgotten.
Please join us. Share, support, and spread the word.
Because at the end of the day, We ALL We Got.
And with Allah’s help — that’s more than enough.
