Wedding & 5 Years as Missionaries in Thailand

Our dear family and friends, 

 

WE'RE GETTING MARRIED

Ethan and I are overjoyed to share that we are getting married this July before moving to Thailand as long-term missionaries. Due to the nature of our shared calling in full-time ministry, we ask you to consider donating through the form of this GoFundMe instead of typical wedding gifts offered through an online registry. These finances will go towards the costs of moving to a different country (plane tickets, visas etc.) as well as start-up costs such as buying a car, rent and furnishings for our housing, and finally to sustain us while on the mission field. We have committed to serve in Thailand for the next five years and possibly longer as God leads and directs our steps. We will be learning the Thai language, integrating into the culture and seeking to love and serve the Thai people by being the hands and feet of Jesus both practically and spiritually. We love you all and appreciate your partnership and support through prayer, encouragement, and financial blessings, which vitally help us achieve this vision of spreading Christ's love and redemption to those who have never been offered it.

RAISING SUPPORT 

Besides one-time donations in lieu of traditional wedding gifts, we are seeking dedicated supporters who are interested in committing to monthly donations to sustain our ministry long-term. Ethan, and I are seeking individuals and families who we believe God will call to join our financial support team as we move to Thailand as long-term Christian missionaries with Youth With A Mission (YWAM). God has called us into full-time ministry to share the Good News of Jesus to the last, the lost and the least of the world. We will be partnering with a pioneering ministry in the unreached nation of Thailand, where the people there have very little access churches, believers, and bibles in their language. We believe that Jesus truly changes everything, and that abundant life is found in Him alone. He deserves the worship and adoration of all the peoples of the earth and we so desire for all people to hear this message of salvation, that they may believe, be saved, and bring glory to God! It is our shared vision to see Thailand reached and transformed with the truth and love of God by motivating, equipping and sending Christ-followers to "Go make disciples of all nations,” especially those nations that have never heard of His mighty name (Matthew 28:18-20). 

 

VISION FOR YWAM TRANG (our partnering ministry)

Mobilization

1. Partner with Thai churches to mobilize believers to unreached people groups and make disciples.

2. Raise awareness among Thai believers of God’s global purpose in reaching ALL unreached people groups and our collective call as the church to engage in it.

3. Encourage and equip short-term teams we host to engage in missions in Thailand and other unreached countries.

Discipleship

1. To make disciples that make disciples in all aspects of our day-to-day life and ministry among Thais.

2. Annual Discipleship Training Schools.

Go

1. Plant YWAM bases, ministries and churches in all of southern Thailand.

2. Have regular short-term staff outreaches throughout southern Thailand.
